A .Net Developer there can expect to work with leading-edge technologies, building applications in a progressive and collaborative Agile development environment. Working closely with the Enterprise Architect, you will be an influential part of driving solutions.

This position reports to Sr. Manager, Product Development.

• Contribute to product design and technology direction
• You will ensure the technical solution meets business objectives
• Provide technical mentoring and coaching to other developers.

skill requirements

Absolutely "Must Have" Skills:
• A degree in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of progressive software development experience and a minimum of 3 years C# and Java development experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An open-minded, ego-free approach to problem resolution
• Excellent understanding of Object-oriented design / S.O.L.I.D. principles
• Experience with creating repeatable, automated unit tests
• Understanding of design patterns, inversion of control, dependency injection, and similar concepts
• Familiarity with Agile process
• Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills
• Ability to mentor other developers
• Ability to identify and implement solutions to problems with a minimum amount of management supervision
• Willingness and initiative to improve solutions
• Technical leadership skills.

"nice to Have" Skills:
• Test-driven / Behaviour-driven, and/or Functional programming experience
• WPF / Silverlight development experience
• WCF development experience
• Experience with Resharper (or similar tools)
• Experience with Subversion, Git, Continuous Integration
• Experience with application integration technology (BizTalk preferred)
